Ahman Green, the former Green Bay Packers running back and the team’s all-time leading rusher, announced on Tuesday that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
The 49-year-old athlete shared the news during an appearance on the “Go Long” podcast. Green received the diagnosis last year.
Green’s announcement comes less than two years after his former teammate, quarterback Brett Favre, publicly revealed his own Parkinson’s diagnosis. Favre also played for the Green Bay Packers during a significant portion of his career.
