Glassdoor, the trusted source for workplace insights and part of Indeed, today announced Glassdoor Recruiter, a new experience that transforms job seeking from high-effort scrolling into quality-first matching.
Glassdoor Recruiter is a job search tool that matches professionals’ career experience, preferences and aspirations with Glassdoor’s millions of employee insights to deliver high-fit opportunities from Indeed’s global hiring marketplace. Each curated role is presented with a match score along with Glassdoor company ratings and applicant experience insights, helping job seekers better evaluate fit before they apply. With an option to make their profiles visible to employers, job seekers can also be discovered and directly recruited by companies that are hiring.
“For too long, professionals have been forced to navigate a hiring process built around volume—scrolling through endless listings, mass applying, and hoping something sticks,” said Owen Humphries, Glassdoor President. “Glassdoor Recruiter flips that model. By combining what job seekers tell us about their goals with the authentic workplace insights only Glassdoor can provide, we’re helping people identify the roles that are most likely to be a fit before they apply. The result is a more informed, more efficient, and more personalized way to connect talent with opportunity.”
How Glassdoor Recruiter works:
- Share your story: Job seekers upload their resume before being prompted to add details about their experience, priorities, and must-haves, creating a holistic profile to further personalize recommendations.
- Let the job find you: Glassdoor Recruiter proactively surfaces curated, high-fit opportunities from millions of active listings across Indeed’s global hiring marketplace. Each recommendation comes with a match score and fit analysis across factors such as skills and experience, compensation and wellbeing and culture. Since professionals spend so much time applying to jobs without hearing back, there’s also an applicant experience score that shows how responsive employers are to candidates.
- Evaluate and take action: Rather than scrolling through endless listings, job seekers are presented with a curated experience where they review one high-quality opportunity at a time and choose to apply, save, or pass. These interactions help Glassdoor Recruiter improve future recommendations.
- Get recruited: Job seekers have the option to make their profile and resume visible to hiring employers, who can then reach out directly about roles that fit.
“We built Glassdoor Recruiter because we believe the future of hiring is about fit, not volume,” said Andy Chen, Chief Product Officer at Glassdoor. “That’s why we only surface high-quality opportunities that align not only with a candidate’s experience, but with what employees actually say it’s like to work there. We’re also helping employers discover qualified candidates directly, creating meaningful connections on both sides. By combining Indeed’s scale and hiring marketplace with Glassdoor’s trusted workplace insights, we can help people find a job that fits and employers fill roles with quality talent.”
Glassdoor Recruiter is available starting today in the U.S. on the Glassdoor website and via the App Store and Google Play.
